Attorney Leaves Law to Meditate
Boca Raton, Florida (PRWEB) May 17, 2009 -- While the current economic situation continues to take its toll on businesses large and small, one budding South Florida entrepreneur says that it's helping her find her way to happiness. Sonia Gallagher, an attorney who has been practicing law for five years and owned a successful Law Firm for the past two years, has closed her Firm's doors to meditate.
Attorney Gallagher studied law in the University of Florida, University of Montpellier in France, and the University of Leiden in The Netherlands. At the tender age of 20, she was an analyst at the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). She later worked for the International Court of The Hague and even co-drafted a book for the US Supreme Court Justices through the National Association of Women Judges. She has interviewed several Consuls from around the world for a talk show she hosted, been a guest expert on Immigration law in a local Spanish radio station, and presented Immigration law related news in a South Florida TV network.
Most recently, Gallagher owned an Immigration Law practice in South Florida. According to Gallagher, she got migraines every other week and was recommended to meditate for stress management. Meditation is what made her realize that she was not happy practicing law.
"Life is too short to be doing what doesn't make you happy. No money in the world is worth lying to yourself," says Gallagher. Though she is currently taking a substantial pay cut, Gallagher is now the CEO of SB Info Tech., LLC an online publishing company dedicated to helping people improve their daily lives.
